Seeking urgent advise. Hi Michael, you interviewed us in Narooma long ago. I don't expect you to remember us.

Lachlan, our 13 year old grandson looked like had heat stroke on Saturday 23rd Nov during a fishing competition. Cooma hospital was great. High fever continued and he went to Queanbeyan hospital that transferred him to Canberra hospital.

After a week in hospital a heart specialist from Sydney made a fluke visit on Monday night to see him after hours. He was instantly moved to higher care to await a bed in Sydney where a team of specialists were teed up to work on him as soon as he arrived.

The family - with 3 young girls and his mum (who is legally blind) had to suddenly pack up and leave for Sydney on Tuesday.

They put him under a general to see if his blood infection was his heart. NEGATIVE RESULT - so good, but the INFECTIOUS disease unit were called in as they control everything that happens in the hospital.

IF the infection had not reached his heart then a stint was to be put into his nearly closed artery and he would then be prepared for open heart surgery to take off a growth on the main heart valve.

It’s pretty amazing he hadn’t passed, and we're so grateful his condition has been identified. But the two infectious diseases team who interviewed our son for a long time in a full ward of people (no privacy and the others in the ward now snubb them), say it was all preventable with vaccinations, yet the young girl in the bed next to him in the hospital had the same set of symptoms and they were told it was very unusual.

Could be shedding....

We are now (after being warned) concerned about CPS (Child Protection Services) taking the children. If you have seen The Corruption Whistlblower (we hosted a talk by Peter and Donna in the Freeman Studio, Queanbeyan) and they say CPS get $40,000 for every child they 'take' (abduct). Do you know this couple? Donna had a terrible experience with CPS taking her teenage daughter kicking and screaming. She was one of the lucky ones who managed to get her back due to being so public with what was occurring.

Any advice?

Who else can we reach out to? Regards Stina Kerans - stinakerans@gmail.com
