What a scathing indictment of Aussie society. A nation of self sufficient "can do" citizens have become a miserable crowd of mitlaufers. Anyone with any sense needs to leave.

Thanks. Glad you liked it. A german woman politician used it in a speech to the Bundestag and I thought it was most apt because it perfectly encapsulates the opinions and mores of the miserable enablers and compliers that allowed this global oppression to be imposed on billions of people. To me Australia is one of the worst examples of this syndrome and I was amazed that the people of Victoria even voted back into power the same party that locked them down for months, destroyed their businesses and coerced millions into taking a vaccination they didn't need, even if it was effective. Then I learnt from an Aussie substacker that the creep Dan Andrews may well have been responsible for running down a cyclist and then instead of immediately calling for an ambulance call some corrupt police officer to come and cover up the foul deed. What kind of head of state is that? The man needed to be put in prison not publicised on the TV every night as the "Great I am" and permitted to harangue Victorians for minor infringements of the lockdown rules.

And to think I once thought Aussies were the coolest people.

What would that road trip be like today?

Rest assured, in my part of Australia there are 100's of narrative deniers. Please don't paint us all with the same brush.

If you can't trust the government, then the only people you can trust are those who don't trust the government.
