Personal experience - 71 yo female nv. Visited my son, walked into house hugged him, kissed his cheek "by the way Mum. I had my 2nd shot yesterday". 5 days later I had dose of shingles and felt very low energy for best part of a week.
I had not had shingles since 1981 after a traumatic personal tragedy. How's that for shedding? I retraced movements and no other explanation arose.
