I worked for child protection in WA for a very long time, then in the NT, and then as an "expert adviser" paid by the Aust Govt to advise Fiji Govt Departments about child protection policy and practice. I am struggling to come to terms with what is happening in Australia. The psychological harm being done to this young boy and his family is not "protection" it is downright psychological abuse.
