Your Women and Children and Country need you, yet all you do is wear your mask when they tell you too, while mumbling to how you have to keep your job and want to travel. Flying out of here, on a jet plane, as all the values that we use to take for granted were non negotiable, rot beneath you on our thinly-gold-plated shores, as all the ghosts, the ones who fought for our freedoms, leave the chains of our “Lest We Forget Banners,” seeing how you informed them all, with your silence to the segregation of our last ANZAC Day, that their sacrifice was, as they had always secretly suspected, pointless.
The odd thing is that success is waiting. It’s ours to reach out and claim, and once we have held the trophy high, and the cheering has abated, we can begin the next chapter of our communal lives, which others in the future will title; “They were the architects of the new Australia.”
But we don’t claim it . . . Why? Instead many of us continue to head towards being remembered as one of the most shameful smudges in our country’s recent history.
The generation that chose to allow the values Australians believed to be non negotiable to be sold for convenience and the promise, yet to be delivered, to alleviate their fears.
But what if it’s not a fear of failing that is stopping us from claiming this great victory, but a moral laziness, that’s preventing us from living up to the responsibilities of success.
“It is no use relying on the Government . . . You must only rely on your own determination”
~Charles Stewart Parnell.
In our case we can add several institutions, yet despite the fact that none of these institutions have offered the incoming tide of tyranny any real resistance, success is still there. Well within reach.
If you speak to people from the eastern Block or other countries that have lived through dictatorships, it is clear that the longer we wait until you or the next generation rise up, the harder the battle will be, in fact if we don’t act now, eventually it will probably come at the cost of many lives. History teaches us this, over and over and those lessons are bathed in heartache and blood. You can’t comply your way out of tyranny.
But right now, as the tentacles of this power-shift are continuing to reach into every aspect of our lives, the opportunity for a bloodless victory is more than possible.
The gathering at Epic Camp was more than Epic. It was a moment when Australians everywhere answered the question, that the elephant in all our rooms was asking; “What do you want, Fascism or Freedom?”
The answer, simply was a resounding ‘Freedom’.
Never, no matter how much money they spend on publicity, could the corporations and the government inspire that many people to travel, at their own expense, to take a booster. No, the answer was, Australians want freedom.
So why haven’t we taken it back? It’s not like there’s an army standing between us?
Could it because we have allowed ourselves to believe we are powerless? A fat people, who love convenience, brain numbing TV shows, and ignoring the warning signs, that our community, even pre covid, was in grave trouble. From the exponential growth of homelessness, our high suicide rate, and our growing debt.
Were we sheltering under a poster, the one we held up to the world, that’s fading font read “The Lucky Country?” A poster blown away by Covid, after the pandemic discovered our poster’s structural beams, our value system, had rusted to the core, or had been sold off.
Lest we Forget, should now read, thanks to the segregating actions of the RSL and others,
“ONCE WE COULDN’T GET A LATTE, WE CHOSE TO FORGET.”
We are an overweight nation who have grown accustomed to a quick and easy fix.
I have a headache; I take a pill.
But there is no quick fix here.
What we are facing is a power grab, and it’s your power that they are after. Every time they jab you against your will, they are conquering your soul. Every time they convince you to ostracise a family member or friend, they succeed.
But even if you feel it, you are not conquered. Your soul has been built to absorb pain. It can be beaten, raped, even killed and still rise like a powerful sword created from light. And its eternal anvil is redemption.
You are not defeated, you are just lying on the canvas, as these new powers laugh at you, and their bought off referee, who isn’t even bothering with the count, for they have all taken it for granted that you are finished, laugh over you. You are nothing to them.
Now, right now, the moments that will define who you are, and the world you will live in, and the culture you will leave to the next generation, are ticking through your veins.
Forget all the reasons why you are face down on the canvas. The past only has only as much dominion as you will allow it. Now is the time where no one can help you. Whether you remain down here or on your knees, for the rest of your life, with the referee resting his boot on the back of your head, is up to you. But know that if you don’t find the courage to push yourself up, then it will be a boot your children will also have to lay under.
So come back to the protests. Protests alone may not change things but greater numbers are always unnerving for those who seek to control us.
And don’t comply, just don’t. And while this takes courage, your courage will be infectious.
Best of all, just by getting back to your feet, you will reclaim sovereignty of your soul, and your liberty.
You weren’t born to be a statistic, or a consumer. You were born to be a novel in the library of humanity, and since you cannot escape the destiny of being your own writer, all you have to do is choose, page by page, what character you want to be from this moment on.
I hope you choose the hero. We don’t need everyone to, but if enough decided to be their own saviours, then victory is ours. Together we will wrench the trophy of liberty back from their slippery hands.
Can’t you see yourself holding the trophy up as the crowd goes wild? Can you see it now, with your inner eye, as facedown you listen to the referee mocking you, calling you another loser. A Sheep.
Come on. What will you do, for with its bruised fingers crossed, your soul is waiting, while we, at our line in the sand are praying to God, that you will find the strength to rise and join us.
That you will get up and help us create a new Australia, built on the principles we use to aspire to. One where our freedoms are enshrined in the concrete of our foundation’s constitution. It is there, above us, all we have to do is reach it, but to do that we will need you.
And we need you now.
Please, please hear us, as we say, your own soul and the souls of the next generation, don’t want what is coming. What we and they need are heroes. What they need is for to you to rise.
Can’t you see yourself and us and them in the stands. All of us biting your lips as we plead to you in whispers, over and over again, get up. Come on, get up. Please, please stand up!
Victory is ours, brother, sister. It’s there waiting for us now, like a lighthouse in a gathering dark, and all you have to do to save us and yourself, is stand.
Michael Gray Griffith
I am consistently inspired by your work and I sincerely hope you continue to be the light for many people, those who are just deciding to make a stand, those contemplating the same and those of us who have stood by your side on numbers of occasions.
Now that we’re, for the most part, back at work if that is our choice, I have chosen to use my time in front of those I have contact with to share the truth. As much time as I’m given with them I share things that should cause them to stand up or at least make them drop their indifference for those precious moments. We proved that for nearly 9 months that we didn’t need our jobs to survive and should me sharing parts of the truth with those people cause me to lose it again, it’s a price that I’m willing to pay.
We can’t afford to let apathy and indifference take any place in the next election or with the new bills they are pushing through to bankrupt us all.
We have been pushed to the side for the last 9 months and the momentum of the state government in Victoria has been dropped to push Victorians into a false sense of security.
Those that still peddle the wares of the tyrannical regime are doing so without the constant support of the MSM who seem to have taken a different path (with the exception of QLD). This silence is allowing the quiet voices of those who didn’t want to participate but did anyway (whatever the reasons), those who definitely don’t want any more, to begin speaking up, they just need someone confident enough to stand up and be loud enough to hear.
We should be that voice, give them a cause to rally behind.
On the subject of Epic Camp, I found a movement in South Africa called the Ubuntu Liberation Movement. This is basically an idea for community and unity, with everyone investing three hours per week into community projects and all those that participate, sharing the rewards. There is much more to it than can easily be explained, however the primary goal is a self-sufficient community that operates free of the constraints that the rest of the world is crumbling under, just like Epic, a group of people of one heart and one mind working towards the freedom of all.
The difficulty for men is they have been and are vulnerable to harsh penalties. If men are incapable of supporting their families through lack of work, sickness or injury, they are skating on thin ice and at risk of man-bashing. Larissa Waters was seen on National TV espousing male Firefighters were going home tired and likely to commit Domestic Violence on their spouse. The reelection of Scott Morrison came amid claims by Labor that they would ratchet up the penalties for men unable to support families, calling it coercion, encompassing virtually anything done or word said their partner may object to. Many male voters knowing someone unfortunate enough to have been hammered financially and having child access denied as a leverage point. 9 suicides a day occur, of which 7 are men. Instead of rubber bullets they are emasculated by an parasitic legal system that no one is allowed to speak about for fear of being jailed. In my mind many parallels exist between mandates to be jabbed and those meted out by Family Law System. Pauline Hanson had a Senate Inquiry regarding Family Law which received thousands of submission, but like adverse reactions to jabs they are conveniently described as confidential and hidden. MSM have highly biased reprting on both issues, if it's a man he's a murderer, if it's a woman she's mentally ill. Very little was heard of $200m Malcolm Turnbiull gave to women's groups to lambast men only to have women councilors hearing self admissions by women of assaulting their partners. Even the predominantly male Victorian police weren't prepared to loose a days pay, preferring instead to shoot protesters at the Shrine, who again were mostly male. Julia Guillard removed perjury from Family Law and many of the 365 x 7 male suicides can be traced back to this. So why would men risk everything they have worked for? Maybe an amalgamation of both groups could achieve better outcomes and put over zealous governments and Police on notice. The ice has cracked under men's right's and forcing jabs for the right to work is as insidious as other rights already lost to a mostly compliant and scared electorate. If we have a war, will men as in Ukraine be forced to fight? And what will they risk being accused of?
