Its a tough world now. I was an RN but eventually found I could not in good conscience spend my working day just giving out medications. Patient care and the professional support of my peers that I knew in my early years had dissipated so I resigned. The shortage of nursing staff is not because there are too few nurses for I was one among many who have left the profession.
If only our doctors and specialists and nurses were all like you, Dr Paul! I knew they were overly influenced by Pharma over many years, but it took the pandemonium to wake me up to how much the "protocols" were now front and centre, and individual patient care had almost totally been extinguished. How could I ever trust this sick system again? The thought of needing hospitalisation is terrifying! Monday evenings with you and MGG are a treat - keep tweeting!
