Bravely spoken truth. If you’re in a mood to read and research, I highly recommend LIVE NOT BY LIES, by Rod Dreher. The subtitle is “a manual for Christian dissidents.” He interviews residents of the former Soviet Union under communism-- how they survived under totalitarianism. They found ways to live in slavery, and even set up an underground university. Individually, to counter the mass hysteria of compliance, we can each speak only truth to others, cut through the lies with our words.
Personally I urge each one to find a higher road, the one that will truly set you free from this evil slavery. For we fight not against flesh and blood, but against the dark forces and authorities of the unseen world and against the evil spirits in this dark world. Put on every piece of God’s armor so you can resist the enemy in this time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of Truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. In God’s truth and compassion, you will find strength to stand your ground. And when all else has failed, to STAND.
