Hi Michael thank you for your beautiful and not so good reminders of the days past.. I fear the days of writing notes letters are fading into the new world. You write so beautifully. Lest we forget this time in history. Lets not use this term for the diggers alone. War is evil. Remember the past and fallen. Yes but going to war now with all our knowledge NO NO! If only enough stood up and said NO! Sadly i feel that is not going to happen. We are left with the spirit of survial for as long as we draw a breath. Love to all xx.
I remember these times you are writing about Michael. It is part of our history now, deeply embedded into the soul of all who could see the truth. Thank you for sharing them.
We know something is not right in our world, and we intrinsically know there must be a better way and Michael makes me think. This is my conundrum.
Religions are based on ancient philosophies yet when the archbishop failed to live up to spiritual teachings, we may notice the differences between beliefs and behaviour in organised religions which require “faith” in their systems of beliefs and practices, creation stories, devotional practices, ritual observances and moral codes and demands for obedience to the hierarchy of authority that preaches and commands.
While religions train the soldiers for obedience to the warlords that have plunged entire cultures into darkness we progress in spiritual awareness by valuing and cherishing life within ourselves, others, and the surrounding world.
Independent philosophers provide light and hope. As far back to the hermetic philosophies of ancient Egypt, the spiritually inspired have offered perennial insight into a primeval, immanent, omnipresent, divine wisdom that has guided people out of troubled times by exploring connections to the present moment, self, others, the environment and the metaphysical. They have highlighted an awareness of intrinsic, enduring laws of the universe, despite events such as wars, financial crises, political oppression, and social licentiousness.
However it is tough going and, like Jesus, spiritual philosophers are persecuted for advocating personal choice and responsibility which challenge established authorities who do not want people who think for themselves. That scares them so they ostracise, belittle, cancel and crucify.
Michael, thanks for holding a light that shines through the darkness and helping me to think beyond political doom. Never ever give up.
Hi Michael. Thank you. Depends on what you want to talk about. I think and choose words carefully before I write but my brain is not always in the right gear before the words spill out.
A great story. It is a great pity that so many kind hearted sensitive people were oppressed by everyone around them. I did not have that problem because I'm much older and more thick skinned so I tended to go on the offensive and direct even sharper words to the critics than those directed at me. People soon learned not to try and persuade me about the righteousness of their opinions especially when they realized that their disdain and contempt left me completely unaffected. You see, I knew I was right and that is a powerful defense against unwarranted criticism. It helped a lot that I had spent far more time than most analysing the numbers because certain fundamental statistics simply cannot be argued against.

you'd be a great guest on Cafe Locked out, I love how your mind works. Would you consider it?

And that's exciting.
