Playwrights are not always the best oral readers of their own works. As native speaker of Aus.t English I had some difficulty at understanding your delivery of your fine work, you elide/run words into each other at times.
No, I have no hearing aid and yes, you may like to consult somebody (if un-jabbed) in Radio or other field in which success stands or falls with clear enunciation.
