You ask "Who are we now" sadly, Australia in now controlled by the offspring of the ten pound poms, most of whom were indoctrinated with the self entitlement that was so pervasive in the UK in the 60s and 70s. This has now been exacerbated by the even stronger self entitlement of certain groups of immigrants that your government has allowed to come in, and what is worse, has allowed them to throw their weight around. The original self reliant independent Aussie has been crushed by this society wide regime change. After seeing what your governments did during the Covid tyranny, which was sickeningly supported by schools, hospitals, doctors, big business and much of the population, I for one have no intention of visiting your budding police state ever again.
