ANZAC, is a myth because the historical facts are, we have runaway from every major conflict in history in defeat, then turned it into a glorious victory. I won't bother listing them but here's a few worthy of note....Vietnam and Afghanistan as for Gallipoli make up your own mind.
MATESHIP, where were our mates and fellow Australians when the chips were really down? Clapping and cheering as you, I and others were attacked with all manner of weapons by thugs in body armour for trying to help them.
FAIR GO, What happened when we asked for bodily autonomy? Victimized, allowed to die from curable conditions.... wee Dazelle spring to mind. Locked away from our friends and loved ones, locked out of pubs, cinemas, cafes, forced to grovel for any semblance of a normal life.
THATS WHO WE ARE AS AUSTRALIANS! pusillanimity pervades everything, we even gave a thuggish war criminal the Sacred Victoria Cross, to me that says it better than anything, as this reward belongs to all soldiers with a high moral clarity, BETRAYED BY COWARDS.

That’s what made me see what was going on - was an interview from a Chinese man from Tiananmen Square who came here for refuge - then saw what was going on here and he said whatever you do - DONT stop speaking about these loss of freedoms that are creeping in” - also another interview and I think it was Cafe Locked out - interviewing the young woman from Croatia saying similar to what this young man has said - they saw it and know it’s happening again all in the name of keeping you SAFE - we in Australia have had it too good for too long and the majority will not give up their creature comforts to even listen to this - kind of like Caligula in Roman times - all we can do is pass the batton on as you say

I wish more had spoken up too. You could see they wanted to but their balls just weren't quite big enough. For me, it became clear that resistance was necessary when they mandated it. It became duty. I'm pretty appalled by most people's behaviour and they haven't even attempted to redeem themselves. They are hoping it will all be forgotten and it will but I will forever look upon others with disdain and disgust.
