I wish I could come over and give you a big hug. I'm also an Early Childhood Educator. I got the jabs against my better judgement because I need an income. At my centre we are desperate for staff and can't them. My employers put all these mandates in way before the government did and I felt disappointed that the unions were all pro mandate. Hope things improve for you.

I also lost my position as a contracted Early Childhood Educator last November when I could not give evidence of covid jab (i wont call it a vaccine). I was no longer given any work hours on the roster. I feel for all of those put in this position. I had a family and personal history of cancer and I chose not to recieve the jab. I can relate to how you have been treated and the consequent stress, financial hardship and stress to close family members and self esteem plummeting. I have just last week gained employment in a different industry (without proof of jab) although I am only part time and earning well below my previous weekly wage. I am 51 on Sunday and I maintain it is unjust, immoral and unfair to mandate these experimental jabs. I missed all my children and wasn't able to come back. My treatment from my employer was disgraceful and that's been echoed. Feel for you. Thank you for sharing your story. You are in my prayers. Hold your head high, continue standing your ground.
