This was the moment Australia died and any notions of ANZAC, MATESHIP AND A FAIR GO, became myths perpetrated by a nation of mainly cowards and sycophants. The Shrine is mine, I served two decades and watching this made me realize, all the brothers I lost, all the personal trauma and physical injury was for naught. I would never again place myself in the funnel of death in defence of Australia, it has become the thing I faught against for all my youthful years. I joined at 15 years of age and left with honour and an exemplary record as an elite soldier.....it means nothing now.....INARDUIS FIDELIS
You Michael are a true warrior with whom I would stand beside in the trenches of Armageddon
Thanks for being honest about it. Men fight in wars against other men who much like them, were conned into believing that dying on foreign shores was defending their nations.
Historical record attests to the opposite. Legions of the best and brightest men are regularly sacrificed in ritualized blood harvests for naught but the greed of governence. We are conned into believing that such sacrifices were noble and much like you, recent government tyranny ensures i'll never hold a different viewpoint on this.
Richard, your gallant defending of our Country was never in vain, your efforts never for nothing, you are a protector and always will be, you are a warrior on the right side of history. We need you more than ever now, you have the skills we will need to draw on. Thank you for all you have done for us. 🙏💕
Thank you for sharing your stance. Great Respect to You.
The sad part is we are constantly lied to by deceitful politicians about nearly everything. All wars are bankers/natural resource grab wars. These bastards make money out of killing people and they Do Not Care about People being Killed. We are seen as their slaves/pawns to achieve their Conquering Goals.
People need to wake up and realise that our Grubberments are Controlled Puppets by A Very Parasitic, Psychopathic and Narcissistic Group of Useless Eaters.
What can you expect from our Politicians, they are Gutless Spineless WEF Fascist. Our Politicians have been brought and will never represent the People. Both sides of the House follow orders from their overseas owners.
Deep pain still abounds. Sick of being a victim yet I realise no relief from victimhood will come until those responsible for the unimaginably sadistic crimes against us are hounded down and justice demanded.
For punishment to be justly meted out against these guilty parties will be the only way our collectivized victimhood transforms us into survivors.
Great post, but you should talk more about the cause, which was refusal to comply with dangerous and ineffective vaxx mandates, the lockdowns, and similar Wuhan Virus bullshit.
It's not obvious what the protests were really about when you leave that out.
I remember so vividly watching Rukshan's live stream that day, (and many other days as well) and like so many others would have done, was yelling and swearing at my phone at the disgusting things I was seeing being perpetrated by a force that was far beyond the role of "policing." No, this was something without a soul, something without any common-sense, and something that looked like it had no handbrake whatsoever. It was a sinister, ungodly, evil thing to watch, and my heart cried for all of the courageous protesters that were being subjected to such tyranny day after day. I also remember that at the shrine before the "hit-squad" made that now, historical push, firing those rubber bullets, that they were saying to the protesters, that if they left peacefully, they would be free to go, but word got back that there were other squad's waiting in ambush to arrest them. I'm not sure if that was actually correct, or if that some got away freely, but in any case, that stopped any more from trusting what the police said, and basically everyone was corralled together to face the guns, before fleeing for their lives or getting assaulted. Never will I forget that period of our history, nor that fateful debacle at the Shrine. We will remember it, lest we forget.
History repeats itself because people refuse to recognize the patterns of tyranny that always precede their enslavement.
Check it out. The facts are there, staring you in the face. It’s always a process, a progression of surrendering one small aspect of your freedom and liberty, certain to be followed by future surrenders.
Become a student of history, and you will see the patterns that tyranny follows, and learn to recognize them in your own community. That ability, and the actions it elicits, will give you an excellent chance to stop the tyranny dead in its tracks, before all the suffering and enslavement that always follows.
It treats learning and retaining a record of all information of historical and operational significance as sacrosanct. And here we are, dumb humanity with the memory of a koi fish, thinking the most pertinent historical or current event facts come from figures in government or mouthpieces in media.
Complacency and Compliance by Australians that lack a back bone assisted in the down fall of our once Democratic Country. As long as they had their Good old Roman Bread and Circuses.
I agree, Norman. Other countries whose histories include being invaded are far more vigilant than Australia. Apart from the Japanese bombing Darwin we're pretty much had a dream run (up until now). Our laconic, "she'll be right" disposition is one that will see us overthrown eventually.
I watched Rukshan’s live stream that day and screen shot pictures of
the crowd being fired upon. I am a 65 year old grandma. I so wanted to be with everyone. I sent those pictures to others. My aunty in her early 80’s refused the vax up in Queensland. She couldn’t grasp the severity of what was happening in Victoria! My Great great grandfather John Blake was the officiating minister who led the prayers for the opening of the Shrine along with the Duke and others. He was the head of the Salvation Army. His son served as a padre in the 2nd WW along with the Rats of Tobruk. I come from a family of peaceful freedom fighters! I know what the Shrine stands for. Rukshan’s live streams from the first gave everyone who couldn’t be there the ability to be a witness. My husband thought the protesters were desecrating
the Shrine because he only watched main stream. His head is back in the early 1980s when we trusted the news. I no longer trust what is said in main stream. Rukshan and yourself have smashed that illusion. I was ostracised by my husbands family for over a year. Friends wouldn’t come near me and one close friend of over 40 years rejected me for my choice of not taking the jab. I was in his words “Delusional”. Your article above just puts words to it all. I am so grateful. My father was a distinguished senior detective in the Victorian Police Force from the 1960s to the 1990s. Working on big cases. He held fast to a strict personal code of ethics. He hated police corruption and he knew those who perpetrated it. He worked alongside Paul Higgins and Brian Francis Murphy, who were high ranking police involved in highly questionable activities. He was often sent to track the activities of Tom Erickson a self stylised private detective who ran with the crims and cops. My father was “Old school” and refused to take bribes and refused to rise high in the police political ranks. He preferred to serve the public and get the job done without media notoriety. He is still alive and has hated what Daniel Andrews has done to the force and the state of Victoria.
I have watched your show and your tour of Australia and your reports have shown the reality of what has happened to our people. Thank you
Watching the videos again, every time I feel sick to the stomach to see the "enforcers/oppressors" shooting Australians, like it's a firing squad or execution scene. No words ...
Although I could not be there in person I watched intently via Rukshan and several others' live streams of the events of that day.
I cried for the first time in my adult life (apart from the loss of close family).
I cried because it was at then I knew Australia had fallen. The Australia I had grown up in. The freedoms we had. The fair go. The healthy distrust of authority. I knew that was all gone. Forever. It hasn't come back. Is it dead? Forever?
I cried for "an Australia, which many believed we still were" because I suddenly realised we weren't. It's hard to even type this and hold back the tears again.
Every time I tell others of this day that Australia died, I sill cry, as I did that horrendous and heartbreaking day. Thank you for your courage to commitment to the freedom and future of humanity. May you be protected and blessed beyond measure.
I had already seen the assault of police when they told 2 little old ladies having a break on a park bench to move on & from the tape they strung across playgrounds & skateparks. I saw the assault when a young girl with a mask exemption was nearly strangled. I saw the assault when a small protest moved to a park & police arrived on horse back harassing everyone in the park including people walking their dog.
The daily & nightly helicopters flew so low over our house that windows shook like an earthquake & tracker lights shone in our & others gardens like something out of a dystopian horror movie.
I was already done with the overreach & bullying behaviour that saw people fined for putting bins out after 8pm.
But…when they shot at fellow citizens, I was horrified. The following protest I was there & each one after that. How dare the police shoot at our people who were asking for rightful freedom from our horrendous lockdowns, using their right to protest just like the Black Lives Matter people had.
Did police know the impact of those lockdowns? The kids cutting themselves in despair of being isolated, the small business owners in despair taking their own lives as they could no longer provide for their family, the financial stress on families who couldn’t survive feeding 5 or 6 on $750 a week. The mental health impact on people living alone locked in their homes 23 hours a day without human contact.
The police felt none of this. They worked, they were allowed to travel everywhere, not locked up, they got paid, they hung out together in lunchrooms & at the stations. Their lives were near normal, as were politicians (drinks at Parliament House anyone - yep I know they had them), doctors, nurses & even Uber drivers.
These people with normal lives decided to fire onto the citizens they were meant to protect & for many of us that was & will always be criminal.
Now they are so busy complaining that they let criminals run free & Melbournians no longer having any faith in the police are employing private security guards to protect their streets.
Victoria police just like our government needs a major overhaul & come back to understanding just why they exist. And that is to serve & protect the people on Victoria.

I never liked jingoistic fervor, or nationalism.

Fear not Rick, Australians will rise against these Great Reset criminals. Like all wars it will get worse before it gets better.

💯 percent correct. It's the why we were there that sets the scene. MGG should know this as a playwright.

Excellent advice and it's an abysmal irony that a core military doctrine in the US Army is their "Lessons Learned" doctrine.

I know all about my home Town Darwin ,played in the Bombed out Buildings and Slit Trenches .
incredible comment
Given the behaviour of the police, senior management appears confused at why people now feel free to attack the police
, and why recruitment is so low. DUH 🙄

At least people are now understanding why police forces have been armed with more and more military equipment since the end of WWII.
This was always the long-term plan. Have the police do what the military wouldn’t.
