What fear, you might ask, is holding us back. If only it was as simple as naming a single fear. Like every other person on earth, we are so complex and uniquely different, we limit ourselves by a whole host of fears.
Like the old saying, the more you know, the more you realize how much you don’t know. Wisdom comes with many associates generated by the discoveries of new and fascinating things. Those new discoveries require adjustments and decisions, many of which will serve to move us out of our comfort zone.
Those constant adjustments can lead some of us to resist change so we can catch our breath and try to acclimate to a familiar state of being.
Since one constant attribute of life is that changes are coming, we can enjoy those moments of static existence only for a brief time. These frequent changes expose us to a multitude of fears that we have to overcome to keep us moving forward in the great experiment we call life.
Thankfully, our age induced wisdom may help guide us to asking the correct questions and provide the answers that will dispel those many accumulated fears and reveal the joyful truth that awaits us.
I am glad that I took the time out of my 40s and 50s to video bands and train tours utilising music from many of the records behind me and the thousands of others not in the photo, and did not get too lost in the mortgage industry. I have made sure I have my own house, without a mortgage, and now I am uploading all those bands and tours, over 1200 already and at least another 1000 to come. All great memories and showing I utilised my time nicely. On the journey I have written probably 20 million words for migrants and refugees and helped a few thousand people have a new life. So I think from watching this video that I must have been more with it than I thought. I am now 73 and still active in things, such as the weekly FOAM meetings and a few other organisations. I have used homeopathy for 50 years. My homeopath said not to have the vaccines, so I didn't and I am still healthy. I have never been into drugs, smoking, vaping or the use of the Australian Vernacular With Its Small Lexicon (ie I don't bother swearing!). The money saved on those is probably why I could do all the things I have done. I do have a bit much red wine sometimes, but avoid all the heavy liquor nowadays. Very interesting video about YOU or ME and how we must engage in life.
Love this Michael. Beautifully expressed - you sure have a way with words. Thank you for being our voice, for sharing your insights, for your ongoing courage and the truth of what many of us see and feel.
Thanks for shearing this Michael, fear is first thing to delete from your life. Fear not only will imprison you but will make sick and the opposite to fear is a free and sound mind. Thanks again Michael for tackling such an important topic.
