I've watched/listened to most of Michael's interviews and to me this lovely woman spoke volumes to me. I wanted to reach out and hug her, tell her what a beautiful, strong, resilient inspiring woman she is. Offer her refuge, peace of mind and tell her suicidal ideation is ok. Many of us reach that place of isolation and despair.
Thank you for your educative (etymology: “to bring out, lead forth”) interview. It is a warning that the Useful Idiots for the CCP like Jeff J Brown and his Fellow Travelers the Ehrets on Substack refuse to hear and admit.
Hi! Many people don’t feel like they fit in… not necessarily autism but maybe on the spectrum… also, if your personality style is different to others - it just means you’re a unique individual - as we are all meant to be… when I studied personality styles, it was interesting how many of my Colleagues (Nursing) were applauded if they were Choleric or Sanguine, but not those who were Melancholic or Phlegmatic!
In many Asian cultures, they prefer the women to be Sanguine!
I hope this brave young woman cherishes herself for the honesty and integrity that shone from her as she searched for the words that would do justice to her inner knowing. As I approach my 70th year I am reminded by her of my own struggle post PhD to find my true purpose, and I want to say to her "our only task is to keep letting go of our fear of not knowing, and in each moment just being true to who we are, unique and perfectly ourselves." Big virtual hugs.
Wow - she survived 4 years in a PHD without being brainwashed and losing herself - and is now in Australia applying to go back to do more of the same ? Does she already have residency here ? If so why would she go back to HK?
I didn’t understand that part of the interview if anyone got that bit
If we lose freedom of speech we lose ourselves
Living in HK from Singapore - I think the vax schedule has been so increased and it coincides with the increase in Autism or is it the labelling and number of services to now diagnose ? Australia is taking in so many people from Asia I don’t understand why she can’t stay here ? Is she just visiting Australia ?
What a beautiful young woman. I just want to tell her how very special she is, created as a unique ,special person by our loving creator with purpose & worth. She has'nt found that purpose yet but she is being prepared for it.

Heartfelt courage spoken from experience, it is chilling but oh so poignant for our times
