I can speak from personal experience experiences from my past. I was married to a doctor who was before the then medical board of Victoria. My advice is this, if a complaint is made against a doctor, get independent legal advice before you approach your medical indemnifier. Medical defence insurers are all about the money. Supposedly to protect the members. It’s all about the money, you will be railroaded and thrown under the bus. I can’t believe this woman’s courage.
The other issue raised by this podcast is another podcast from several months back with a Victorian medico who got to the Supreme Court, they had to admit they only way they could bring charges was in confidential patient files they had seized without patient consent. They same has happened in this doctors case. Maybe their case just collapsed- Simone should give her the heads up.

Wowsers that last revelation! Never give a sucker an even break - they will suck the life out of you. It does sound like a set up though.
