Look at how media survives, especially print media (but I would say also TV, radio etc), they get public money to continue to survive. They play the music of who pays the bill. The moment they would say anything against they would be cut off the money stream and shut down.
And, there is too much concentration: even if you have like10 newspapers, if the owner is one ...doesn't help for information diversity, does it...
I clicked on your subscription page to either subscribe or send a gift, depending on what I could afford. I noticed that even the gift option had specific amounts stipulated. May I suggest that under this section, we have the option to choose/enter an amount desirable to us, depending on our circumstances, since it's a gift. This is just my humble opinion. I feel that way, there could be more contributions, from your readers & well wishers, in whatever small way they can.
