Welcome to the CONTROL OF ART.
Also tonight, Emily from Emily James Trio, talks about her song "Don't Welcome Me (to my own country", that went viral, but because of the amount of abuse they received they had to take it down.
"A short story of what happened was, we released a controversial song, which we knew would be controversial as it had a particular stance on a certain topic, it was received really well for the first 24 hours, and then unfortunately a group of people who very much disagreed with the song basically started a campaign to cancel and defame us, the reel went somewhat viral and the abuse got so bad that we had to pull the whole thing down due to the defamation and destruction of our characters and businesses.
